Determination and Success: Tips that could help you become a success junior

During internship I made some mistakes, and through my experiences I learned a lot and can help you have a better internship experience than I did. I learned some things the hard way.
I am a very laid back person I did what I was told, no questions asked, and that was the main reason I was miserable at my internship. I did not speak up and tell my mentor what I would like to do and because of that I was given the simple job of inputting information into a database instead of the more interesting job of giving tours which I wanted to do, but never got the chance . So this does not happen to you

I am going to give you tips for a successful interrnship

How To Pick Your Own Internship

1. Start right away, as soon as you find out when your internship starts, start looking for one. Whatever you do don't procrastinate, because before you know it, it will be time to start and you might end up with an internship you don't enjoy.

2. Select your internships wisely. Just because you find out your friends have the same internship as you doesn't necessarily mean this going to be a good experience for you. Sometimes friends can hinder you from doing a good job at your internship. If you are interning with your friends keep your talking to a minimum. Remember there is a time and place to have fun. If you are just picking your internship just because your friends have it then you shouldn't pick it, because you will learn slowly that it wasn't the best choice after all.

3. Sometimes it's not what you know-it's who you know. As you grow up as an adult or try to apply for college you will hear this quote about a lot. This quote is not always true but in this case it is 100 percent true. If it wasn't for the people I knew I probably would have not found an internship quickly enough. When I was let go from my internship I had to find another internship in a certain amount of time, I soon as I found this out I started looking for one and calling people, and by the next day I had found my new internship.

The First Day Of Internship:

Your first day of internship is almost never what you expect, but most of the time you will at first like it.

1. First impressions matter. This can go both ways either for you or your mentor. On your first day of internship, whether you're working at school with kids or even at a construction site you must dress to impress. This does not mean you have to go buy a whole new outfit, it just means you should dress how you would as you were going to get interviewed for the job. So girls, I suggest you wear either a skirt that comes close to your knees or you can wear really nice pants, preferably not jeans and a really nice blouse and Not Tight Clothes, because this is Not Professional. As for boys just wear slacks and a nice buttoned down shirt and you will be fine no need to worry much. Remember this is only for your first day, so don't-trip you will have your turn to show off those new Jordan's you just bought. It is just really important to make a good impression on your first day of internship.

2. Speak up, and tell them what you would like to bring to their business, because if you don't they will give you something that requires little effort. I learned this the hard way. Again there is a time and place to talk and it being your first day of internship it is definitely the time to do so. If you tell them the things that you can do and will be willing to learn they will give you a good job, but if you just take the job and not tell them that you can do more, then they won't give you more to do.

3. Sometimes it is not good enough to do what you are told. When I was told this quote I was confused and didn't understand. I mean how can you do everything your told and that still not be enough? What this quote basically means is that you're really never done with a job. You should always go over and beyond. Take initiative and do something extra, this will tell your mentor that you're up for anything and can help you with tip number two, because in order to speak up and tell your mentor you want to do something else you have to show your mentor that you are capable of doing the job.

If I would have known then what I know now, I would have done a better job at my internship. I have learned a lot and this has helped me at my new internship. I was more comfortable with my mentor, and I was able to speak up and tell her the different things I wanted to bring to her business. I am glad had struggles, I think the great Frederick Douglas said it the best “If there is no struggle, there is no progress.

obama,clinton,and the socialist

Obama is not the first to be accused of having socialist ideas in a article called Clinton's socialist manifesto there is plenty of proof say he was. This is a tough topic because I don't get socialism and I don't understand it enough to talk about, but I do know some of obama's ideas of how to better our economy. Obama and Clinton both had similar ideas on how to better the economy. They both tried to give better heath care and they both tried to fix the unemployment rate. I think Clinton tried to do this but since he was impeached he never got a chance to fix it. I think if we just give Obama a chance to prove himself and to scrutinizing him over every little thing he might can fix this financial crises. Remember before Obama was in office our economy was already jacked up due to previous presidents, so Obama is really struggling, and I think no matter who would had been in office our economy would still be bad,and I think we should give him a chance. Also I would like to now why is it that every since Obama has been presient people have been complaining more and lashing out at him i hear about Obama not doing a good job then when Bush was the president and Obama's Not even the one who messed up our economy in the first place he just trying the best way he can to better it.
